Sunday run.

Had a good Sunday run! It's the longest I've run this year. There's only three more weeks until I run the Portland Rock'n'roll Half Marathon. I'm getting a little excited. I'm running faster than I thought I'd ever run. Last year, I thought I was running fast but this year surpasses that. Are you getting closer to your goals? Small steps lead to big changes. Take those small steps, keep at it, and you'll get closer to where you want to be!

Focus T25 Gamma Speed 3.0

I decided to tackle Focus T25's Gamma Speed 3.0 for today's workout. It's been a while since I've done this one and I've improved. I'm able to do the push-up jacks better and feel okay throughout the whole workout even when doing all the burpee moves. I had a great sweat session in 25 minutes! This fast paced workout will make you sweat buckets lol. If you like burpees this workout is for you. This video is the last part of the workout where you repeat all the moves from both rounds.

Running comparison from last year

I was taking a look at my running times from last year and my times have really improved this year!! I was running more last year at this time because I did the Cherry Blossom 10 miler in Washington D.C. That was a fun race, especially since I got to visit my twin sister! But if you look at my times from last year, I was running an average mile in nine minutes something. I ran fast in the Cherry Blossom Race at 8:42 min/mile but other than that I was mostly above nine minutes. This year I'm running less than nine minute miles which I'm stoked about!! It's pretty awesome!! I'm in the best shape ever due to doing P90X3 as well as working out with Focus T25 beforehand! I can't wait to see what time I'll get on my half marathon coming up in May.

Focus T25 Beta Speed 2.0

I went back to Focus T25 for today's workout and did Speed 2.0 with my kiddos. This is a fun one that always leaves me sweaty because it's fast paced and I like the music!

My P90X3 Results

Here are my P90X3 results. I did not expect to lose much weight since I had just done Focus T25 but I lost 4.8 lbs! On day one, I was 123 lbs and today I weighed in at 118.2 lbs! I'm amazed because before my fitness journey, I never thought I'd get back to 120 lbs let alone down to 118.2 lbs. According to the measurements, I've lost 5" off my waist and 2.5" off my hips! I'm flabbergasted lol. I'm not sure how accurate that is but my jeans are much looser. I had the same person who took my before measurements do my after measurements, in any rate I lost inches. I'm happy! 

Also, I'm so much stronger than I was before! I remember barely being able to do a pull-up and now I can do six regular pull-ups with no assist band or anything!! I can hold the yoga crow pose which I could not do in the beginning. I've improved so much and feel great! Also, it's improved my running. I'm running a lot faster than before and I've just been running on Sundays. I love the variety of workouts in P90X3 and would highly recommend it to all!!

Before I did Focus T25 I weighed about 135 lbs, now I'm at 118.2 lbs! 16.8 lbs lost...I'm happy with that!! :)

Day 90 of P90X3 finished

Woohoo!! I did it! 90 days of P90X3 done! I think P90X3 is a great program with a lot of variety and I'm glad I did it! I'll be taking measurements tomorrow. Stay tuned for my results.
